Buckeye State Rural wants to do more in 2024!
With recent national attention to our work and partnerships with activist groups all over Ohio, we are poised to meet our goal of 50 billboards on rural commuter routes around the state.
Although we're heading into the final months, we still hope to reach as many local groups as we can to organize a billboard in their county. Even a dozen members could raise funds to cover two months of advertising for progressive and Democratic policies.
Billboards reach thousands of people every day, who can't turn them off or drown them out. They help counter the yard signs and flags the opposition has been flying since 2016. And because they're billboards, community members may feel very comfortable contributing--because the messages aren't in their front yards or on their car bumpers.
Check out our 20-minute video and please contribute to our efforts if you're able. Even better? Put us in touch with activist groups in rural Ohio areas (info@buckeyestaterural.com)!
